Aysa is currently attending the University of Houston pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science and Psychology. She has a strong desire to help others as she leads the Pre-Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Society along with participating in Adaptive Athletics, which provides athletic programs for quadriplegic and paraplegic athletes. Outside the clinic, she is also an in-home therapy facilitator for children with autism, and a volunteer at various hospitals such as Texas Children’s Hospital. Her experience and passion to help others has led her to continue her pursuit to become an Occupational Therapist post-baccalaureate. Outside the clinic and school, she enjoys exploring Houston’s local coffee shops, spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and playing wheelchair rugby with the Adaptive Athletic athletes.
