Aysa graduated from the University of Houston in December of 2019 with a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science and Psychology. She has a strong desire to help others as she led the Pre-Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Society along with Adaptive Athletics, which provides athletic programs for quadriplegic and paraplegic athletes. She continues to be active in adaptive sports and is a certifies USQRA Wheelchair Rugby Referee. Outside the clinic, she is also an in-home therapy facilitator for children with autism, and a volunteer at various hospitals such as Texas Children’s Hospital. Her experience and passion to help others continue to motivate her pursuit to become an Occupational Therapist.

Outside the clinic and school, she enjoys exploring Houston’s local coffee shops, spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and playing wheelchair rugby with the Adaptive Athletic athletes.
